”Every lover on a mission shift your known position into the light
Every diamond elemental you are instrumental to the light
Every sonic evolution make your own contribution to the light”
-TV on the Radio Second Song
For the TV on the Radio fans out there, here is the movie that goes with their amazing new album, Nine Types of Light. The movie includes a music video for every song on the album, and incorporates interviews from New Yorkers on various topics, including dreams, love, fame and the future. This is how an album should be listened to. The movie is cosmic and beautiful and strange. Directed by Tunde Adebimpe.
TV on the Radio’s bassist, Gerard Smith, passed away yesterday after a fight against lung cancer. Rest in peace.

Stunning wildlife photography and video by Vincent Munier shot on a Nikon D3S. On assignment in Finland and Norway he captures the delicate beauty and raw power of the Nordic forest.

Sweet and playful spring looks from Anthropologie.
Loving, loving, loving this romantic deconstructed collection from Brooklyn label, InAisce. It puts me in mind of a swashbuckling heroine about to embark on an adventure on the high seas. Or getting ready to ride out across wind-swept moors upon the back of her spirited stallion…

This is really one of my favorite fashion editorials of all time. Probably because it reminds me of the goblin masquerade in one of my all-time favorite movies, Labyrinth. David Bowie as the Goblin King, anyone? Oh yeah.
I happen to be a sucker for desert road-trip fashion spreads and have been meaning to post this one since I saw it in the March Marie Claire US. Starring Caroline Winberg and lensed by Kalle Gustafsson.
